Oconee Rivers Audubon Society leads recurring bird walks for adults of all experience levels at the State Botanical Garden of Georgia. 🍽️ Athens food inspections flag warm milk and kitchen pests
The Gist: Athens-Clarke food inspections conducted Sept. 1-14 found violations at several establishments, WUGA reports. Butt Hutt on Macon Highway scored 89, and 7 Brew received an 82. Six establishments earned 100s, including Cedar Shoals High School and Ellianos.
Why It Matters: The findings go beyond the scores: inspectors reported live cockroaches in Butt Hutt’s kitchen and milk stored above 41 degrees at 7 Brew.
