🥩 A new steakhouse in the old Holman bank
Oak Steakhouse opened September 16 at 110 E. Clayton St., inside the former Holman Hotel and bank building. The Athens menu has Prime steaks, a raw bar and grilled quail with boiled peanut mole.
The old bank vault is now a private dining room, and former teller stations are dining spaces. The menu also lists candy roaster squash with golden raisin agrodolce and a pork chop with sweet potato, creamed greens and mountain apple butter. Dinner starts at 5 p.m. daily.

🍸 Puma Yu’s owners plan a cafe and cocktail bar in Five Points
The Gist: Puma Yu’s owners Pete Amadhanirundr and Ally Smith plan to open Hin, a cafe and cocktail bar, in Five Points with Molly McClintock of Hana Makgeolli. They have not announced an exact opening date or menu.
Why It Matters: Amadhanirundr and Smith opened Puma Yu’s at Southern Mill in 2022. Hin would bring the same team to Five Points for daytime cafe service and cocktails.
