📈 Athens Unemployment Rate Rises to 3.5%

The Athens area's unemployment rate rose to 3.5% in June, up from 2.8% in May, according to the Georgia Department of Labor. Even with the monthly increase, the region added jobs over the past year, with gains in industries like private education, health care, and manufacturing.
