AthFest returns to downtown Athens June 26–28 with three days of live music, local art, food vendors and family-friendly activities. The free festival features more than 100 musical acts, an artist market and events at venues throughout downtown, with proceeds benefiting AthFest Educates.
Why It Matters: AthFest is one of Athens' biggest annual events, bringing the community together while supporting local music and arts education.

Democratic congressional candidate Pamela DeLancy discussed why she's running to represent Georgia's 10th Congressional District in a recent interview with The Red & Black. The retired Army nurse and colonel said her military service and oath to the Constitution inspired a campaign focused on "We the People."
