⚓ How a Business Can Pay Every Premium and Still Have the Wrong Coverage

One policy Kyle Gelsthorpe reviewed described a physical storefront as an online-only business.

Another treated a company as a simple retailer even though part of its work created manufacturing risk.

Both businesses had insurance and paid their premiums, but the policies did not match the businesses they were supposed to protect.

That kind of mistake can sit unnoticed until a claim or audit, which is the worst possible time to learn what the paperwork actually says.

Kyle spent 17 years at Assurant and rose to Senior Vice President before opening Anchor & Pine with his son Reese.

Today, he reviews not just policies but the contracts, leases, payroll, and day-to-day operations behind them.

His rule for business owners is simple: shop while things are going fine, not after something has already gone wrong.

If you own a business, or know someone who does, Kyle put the five checks worth making before renewal into a short guide.
