JOMA Construction was founded by John Newland, along with a dedicated team of highly skilled project managers, carpenters, and support staff. John and his wife Marielle (JOMA = John + Marielle) moved to Athens in 2001 and officially started the business in 2005, after three years of hands-on learning. Since then, we have had the opportunity to work on over 1000 remodeling projects in the Athens area. Our reputation, including recognition from local and national organizations, stems from experience in the process and procedures of building projects, and a passion for quality workmanship and customer service. Our motto is "building eudaimonia."
