CertaClean

CertaClean is a locally owned carpet and floor cleaning company on W Broad Street, serving Athens and the surrounding communities since 2019. The family run business holds a perfect 5.0 star Google rating across hundreds of reviews, and it has built that reputation on careful work, professional crews, and responsive service. Area rugs are the specialty. CertaClean runs its own rug cleaning facility, where handmade, wool, silk, and other delicate rugs are inspected, dusted to remove dry soil, washed, rinsed, and dried on racks rather than cleaned on the living room floor. Synthetic and many machine made rugs can be cleaned on site. The team regularly handles pet accidents, stubborn odors, heavy soiling, and everyday wear, tailoring the process to each rug's fibers and construction. Pickup and delivery are available, and in plant rug washing typically takes seven to ten business days. Beyond rugs, CertaClean cleans wall to wall carpet, upholstery, tile and grout, and wood floors, and it also handles carpet stretching and repairs, dryer vent cleaning, and commercial jobs. The company develops its own cleaning chemistry, formulated with families and pets in mind. The owner holds three IICRC Master certifications: Master Textile Cleaner, Master Water Restorer, and Master Fire and Smoke Restorer. Along with Athens, CertaClean serves Watkinsville, Commerce, Jefferson, Winder, Monroe, Braselton, Hartwell, and Elberton.
